All of your personal information and data on the Blade service is stored inside the EEA and is not transferred outside of the EEA, our partners may have different policies, and you should check these for data that our partners handle for us.

What information we collect

Information collected from website visitors

As you browse the blade website and access the blade service, we may place cookies on your device. These cookies are used to:
  1. Perform analytics (such as seeing what pages users most visit) to allow us to build a better service.
  2. Enforce security requirements (such as by attempting to distinguish bots from humans on our service)
  3. If you have an account on our service, keep you signed in.

We use Google Analytics to improve and monitor our service, Google will place cookies on your computer to facilitate this in accordance with their terms and privacy policy. Information collected from users with an account

If you decide to sign up for an account on the blade service, we'll need to collect some personal information about you, this is because we have a legitimate interest to prevent unauthorized access to your account, and to enable us to do this, we need to keep some information about you, for example your email address so that we can send password reset emails.
When you sign up for an account, Google Ireland Limited will collect this information on our behalf. You should therefore be familiar with their Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, which you can find by clicking here.

Information collected from users with a premium account

In addition to the information we collect for users with a normal account, we'll need to collect some more information if your account has a premium status, this is so we can facilitate on time payment of the fees associated with this part of the service. To do this, our partners at Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. will collect this information on our behalf, and will process these payments for us. Support cases

We may keep emails you send to us so that we can help you in the future. We'll delete these emails when they are 1 year old, unless we have a legitimate interest in keeping specific emails (for example to help an investigation or because we are required to keep the emails by a government authority).

Who has access to your data?

Only those who operate the blade service and are officers or employees of BR28 LTD have access to your data you provide to us through blade. For the avoidance of doubt, this means no other persons will be sold or given access to your personal data provided to us through blade, except for Google Ireland Limited and Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd under the circumstances previously described above.

Your Rights

Rights available to all users

Account deletion

Every user may delete their account on the blade service at any time through the features provided by Google Ireland Limited to allow you to delete your account. If you can't delete your account through this system you should email our Data Protection Officer, should you choose to do this, we may require you to reasonably satisfy us of your identity, this is because we have a legitimate interest to prevent unauthorized deletion of users accounts.

Rights available to EU/EEA/CH Residents & Citizens

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), Citizens and Residents of the European Union, European Economic Area, Swiss Confederation (hereinafter "European Users") are entitled to certain rights and information about how their data is processed, in addition to our Privacy Policy above, this section of our Policy grants those rights, as follows:

Right of Access

European Users have the right to ask us for a copy of their personal data that we process, to do this, please contact our Data Protection Officer by email.

Right to Rectification

European Users have the right to ask us to rectify inaccurate personal data and to have incomplete personal data completed. To do this, please contact our Data Protection Officer by email.

Right of Erasure

The Right of Erasure is provided for in the Account Deletion section of this policy, for the avoidance of doubt, when you delete your account, all personal data associated with your account is also deleted.

Right to restriction of processing

European Users have the right to ask us to restrict processing of your personal data under the circumstances described in Article 18(1) GDPR. To do this, please contact our Data Protection Officer by email.

Right to Data Portability

European Users have the right to receive your personal data in a commonly used electronic format. To do this, please contact our Data Protection Officer by email.

Right to Object

European Users have the right to object on grounds relating to your situation to the processing of your personal data. To do this, please contact our Data Protection Officer by email.

Automated Individual Decision Making

We do not carry out any Automated Individual Decision Making.

European Users required to prove status

We may require you to reasonably satisfy us that you are a user who falls into the scope of GDPR. We may for example, require you to submit a picture of a government issued Photo ID that is from an EU/EEA/Swiss authority which we will delete from all our systems once we are satisfied of its legitimacy. If you do this, we may keep a list of people who have demonstrated to us they are European Users, so that we don't have to ask them to prove this again in the future. If you'd prefer for us to not keep you on this list, please let us know when you contact us.

Amendments from time to time

We may need to change this policy from time to time, when we do, we'll update this page, and the new policy will have effect 24 hours after we've updated this page. If you don't want to use the service after we change this policy feel free to contact us to see if we can handle your concern, if this does not prove possible, you will need to stop using blade before the new policy comes into effect.
